    Four steps of choosing screen correctly:
(1) Choose the type of the screen
Front projection screen: manual screen and motorized screen;tripod screen ,Metal plane screen, cambered surface screen.
Rear projection screen: Many kinds of hard quality rear-projection screen ( divided into hyperbolic curtain and disperse curtain) and soft quality rear- projection screen( disperse screen); picture result of hard quality screen superior to soft quality screen's.
(2) Choose the best size of screen
choose best screen size mainly depends on room dimensions,audience seating size and arrangement. Primary rule is to choose the screen suitable for audience -not to the projector , that is to say to place vision experience of audience above the other things.
The following points refer to choose screen size :
Screen height should let every row of audience see clearly contents of picture projectored. Screen distance to reach the first row of seats should be greater than 2 heights of screen.
The bottom of screen is overhead about from 1.5 meters.
(3) Choose suitable format for projection equipment ( picture proportion) tabulated as follows:
Video format Screen proportion( wide: high)
VGA signal 4:3 / projectors 1:1 / NTSC 4:3 / PAL 4:3 / HDTV video 16:9/1.85 wide screens
(4) Choose the screen material
The screen surface that you chose should be suitable for your projector and audience's need. But if one screen supplis with many projectors, screen surface should be suitable to the projector that have high expectations for screen. For example, when you have slide projector and projector at the same time , because the light of the projector is lower than the slide projector in exporting amount, Should choose the surface its reflection rate( gain) suitable for projector. But because most luminance of projector is high now, adopt Matte White which gain is lower than Glass Beaded, can obtain rather good projection result.
